Kol is, quite literally, a force of nature. A being as old as the world’s first tree, he is a guardian of the wilds - a shapeshifting fey spirit who resides in the far north, brought into existence by the goddess of nature Xiyja (pronounced Shae-ah) as her antithesis; the winter to her spring - a cold, uncompromising guardian who can take the shape of any bird or beast who roams the frozen north. His coming heralds winter, harsh and unforgiving - but not cruel, as in his wake follows Spring and Summer, the lands once again warmed by the embrace of his more caring counterpart.
